4th of July Fun

We had a pretty good 4th. We left Thursday night and headed over to Eastern Idaho to hang out with all of Micahs friends. On Friday we went to a parade in Victor with Cody and Cassie, some of Micahs friends. It was a ton of fun. Later we went to Idaho Falls and had a barbeque with some more friends and waited for the fireworks. The fireworks show in IF is amazing. I grew up in Dietrich remember, so I havc never really been to a fireworks show, unless you count the nightly showing of them at Sea World. Apparantly the show is one of the biggest west of the Mississippi. It was pretty dang awesome to watch. After the show we headed back to Dietrich and hung out with family. Saturday night we went rockchuck hunting again but nothing was out. That was our eventful week. Everyting else is pretty good. I only have two and half weeks of school left. It went by fast. Enjoy the pics!

Camping, Fishing, Hiking and Rockchucks

We have been pretty busy lately. In our spare time we have been camping, fishing, and shooting rockchucks. One week ago we went camping up at Baker again. It was a short trip. We went up on Friday and came home Saturday night. We had a chance to go hiking up to Baker Lake. We took our fishing poles and were going to go fishing in it, but we go all the way up there and the lake was still frozen over. It was still fun to hike up there though. We also had the chance to go on some four wheeler trails. It was a ton of fun. Then last Thursday we went fishing down in Hagerman. We go to go out in a Canoe. It was fun, except everytime I caught a fish I would pull it over to the canoe and it would fall off the hook. Micah forgot to tell me that you getting drag the fish out of the water and then over to the canoe. I was supposed to leave it in the water until it got all the way over to the canoe. I just think he didn't want me to catch a bigger fish than he did. It was a pretty fun trip though. Last Friday night we went on a romantic date with Ryan and Teresa. They boys decided to take us rockchuck hunting. It was actually quite entertaining. They were nice and let me and Teresa shoot them. We each shot five. It was a lot of fun. It actually gets kind of entertaining. That is our lives right now. Enjoy!!

These are just some pictures in order of our camping trip to shooting rock chucks!

Memorial Day Camping

So I am a little bit slow at posting things. Two weeks ago we went camping up above Sun Valley at Baker Creek. It was a ton of fun. We went with Micah's brother, Ryan, and his family. We took our camper that Micah got from a friend for $100. It is interesting, but I can say that I like it a lot better than a tent. He is so proud of it! The weather for this trip wasn't the best. It would start raining, so then we were just stuck in the camper,(working on hunters ed) It was a lot of fun to to get to go with the Dietrich Smith's though. I have an awesome sister in law Teresa. She is great and a lot of fun to hang out with. My other sisters-in-law think they need to go across the country, so I don't get to hang out with them much.(Still love ya Debi) Anyway, a picture is worth a thousand words so here are some pictures from the trip.

Here is our truck hooked up to the camper.

Micah's New Haircut

Sometimes we have to much fun at this Smith house. The other night we were getting ready for bed, doing a few last minute things around the house and Micah came out like this...

This is his new haircut...Actually this is a wig he got at the DI a few years ago. He is so crazy sometimes. I guess that is why I love him so much because I can relate to crazy very well. So you would probably think that after taking this picture he would be done. I pulled the camera out for one picture and he thought it would be fun to have a little photo shoot, so I took a few more pictures. Enjoy. Our camera was kind of acting funny so the lighting is a little bit off.

Micah's True Side
Ok, so I kind of got into it to. Here I am wearing my hunters ed hat. That is the prize I got for finishing and passing the Hunters Ed course. Something is wrong with me, I can't believe I agreed to do that. Now Micah thinks he is going to take me deer hunting this fall. I am not going to complain though, because I actually kind of like it, to a point anyway. Seriously though, can't they give you something better than an old man hat for completing the course???
That was a fun night. We laughed until our bellies hurt. The sad thing is that it probably wasn't that funny. We need to get out more!

Good Times

We went on our honeymoon to Island Park and stayed in a cabin. The cabin was perfect. We had our own hot tub and everything. Yellowstone isn't very far from Island Park so two of the days we were up there we went to Yellowstone. It was a lot of fun. The weather couldn't make up its mind, there wasn't enough snow to go snowmobiling, but there was too much snow to go four wheeling. One day we were at Henry's Fork and we got a flat tire. It kind of stunk because we had to go all the way to Rexburg on a small tire to get a new tire. Rexburg, The last place either of us wanted to be on our honeymoon. :)I guess it wouldn't be a honeymoon if you didn't have the crazy little memories right?? After the second day of Yellowstone we went to Jackson Hole. This was a ton of fun except we spent an hour trying to find our hotel that didn't even exist! We made reservations online under a hotel that didn't have that name anymore. Luckily the hotel wasn't non existent, it just had a different name. The sad thing is we pulled into the right hotel when we first got there. All in all the honeymoon was awesome. Now we are back home and getting into the swing of things. In case you were wondering we live in Jerome in a little house. It is very nice because we only have to pay 300 dollars a month for rent. I like it for now, but am excited to settle where we want to be. Which will hopefully be Dietrich in a couple of years. We are finally starting to have a routine which is very nice. The best thing is we don't have to leave each other at night. It is great. No more making arrangements of who is sleeping where, or driving all over on the weekends to see each other. No more late phone calls on the weeknights. We are finally together and it is great.

Micah is working for the Fish and Game preserving wildlife management areas. He loves it. He is trying to find a teaching job for the fall. A couple of options have come up so we will see what happens. I am still doing homecare for a man, and I just started CSI yesterday. I only have to take four credits of Anatomy and Physiology to finish up my prerequisites before I start the nursing program in the fall. That will be exciting. I can't wait. Life is pretty great, and I love being married. I wouldn't have it any other way. I am pretty much married to the best man in the world. Well that is a sum of what is going on in our lives. Pretty exciting I know.

Here are some pictures from our honeymoon. Here we are at Henry's Fork. It was kind of bright out. This was just before the flat tireHere we are in Yellowstone. It is really pretty there.

This is at Old Faithful. It rained the whole time we were wating and then stopped when we were getting ready to leave.

This is just a buffalo at Jackson Hole

This is in Jackson Hole at the antler arch

Well that's all for now. Catch you later.

Our wedding...three weeks ago

We got married on May tenth in the Idaho Falls temple. It was such a neat experience to get to be married there. It was a good day as far as weather goes. Which was pretty lucky because the day before it rained like crazy. After the wedding we got lots of pictures taken. There were quite a few people at the temple. After the wedding we had a luncheon. The food was great. After the food we went to Blackfoot where we got ready for our first reception. The nice thing about that reception was we didn't have to do any of the decorating. After standing in a line for two hours we headed out for our honeymoon. ENOUGH SAID!! Here are a few pictures taken to capture the momennt. Enjoy

The day was pretty amazing. Both of our entire families got to be at the wedding. That was a very overwhelming feeling. It is pretty hard to describe. I can say that I am very grateful for my family and my new family that I married in to. They are such awesome people.

WAHOOO

And they lived happily ever after.

THE END
